Because of shortage of domestic crew, SEASUNMARINE have no choice but to hire foreign crew. In recent years SEASUNMARINE tries to hire Vietnamese crew and Burmese crew. Two Burmese crew joined in M.V. ‘DAFENG’ that is operated by SEASUNMARINE at Tianjin on the 10th of May successfully. They become vital part in fleet. The employment of foreign crew improves the communication between international seafarers and the level of management further. The diversity of seafarers helps crew improve skills communication, learn other countries’ culture, enhance the level of English and learn from each other. On the 13th of May, SEASUNMARINE rented M.V. “OCEAN SKY” from Japanese shipowner, which is a tween-decker with dead weight of 8,969.00 meter tons, built in 2010. The ship is carrying the flag of Panama and belongs to NK classification society. She has total length of 110.0 meters, width of 18.80 meters and depth of 12.70 meters. She is equipped with 2 cranes one of whose SWL is 30 meter tons, whose SWL can be combined upto 60 meter tons together. The grain capacity of cargo holds can contain 13,448 cubic meters and the bale capacity of cargo holds can contain 12,661 cubic meters. DWCC is about 8,000 meter tons. This is another multipurpose break bulk ship after renting M.V. “DONGSHENG” and M.V. “DONGYUAN” in 2012, M.V.“DAFENG” in 2013 and M.V.“AOLI 7” in 2014. The chartering in M.V.“OCEAN SKY” which improves the structure of existing ships of SEASUNMARINE, satisfies customers’ needs better and provides a certain guarantee in capacity of transportation for serving customers. To rent the ship smoothly, all staffs in shipping department work hard and have communicated with ship owners one by one for many times in terms of tenancy agreement. The way embodies the equal contract fully and maintains the interests of both sides. So the period of contract negotiation is shortened greatly and the signing of tenancy agreement is completed successfully. M.V.“OCEAN SKY” is on-hire from Kanmon nearby in Japan, She will load at port of Senboku, Japan.
